What Lahore makes for the US market
Lahore makes garments and denim, leather jackets and shoes, furniture, rugs, food products and sportswear. Many large textile groups have head offices in Lahore with mills on the roads leading out of the city.

How goods leave Lahore
Lahore sits on the M-2 motorway to Islamabad and the motorway network to Multan and Karachi, about 1,200 km away by road. Lahore Dry Port, at the railway yard in Mughalpura, lets exporters clear customs in Lahore and move sealed containers to Karachi. Many garment and leather exporters ship samples and urgent orders by air from Lahore.
