We checked the US and Pakistani rules on this page in September 2026. Rules change, so we confirm them again before we start your work. We are not lawyers or tax advisers. Where a license is needed, we work with licensed partners.
The short answer
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| What is a sales agent? | A person or company that finds buyers for you and earns commission. We never own your goods or sign deals for you. |
| What does it cost? | From $1,500 a month plus 2 to 5 percent commission on paid orders from buyers we introduce. |
| Who pays commission? | You do, only after your buyer has paid you. |
| How long before orders? | US buyers usually test samples and small orders first, so steady orders often take a few months. The minimum term is 6 months. |
What we do for you
- Build a list of US importers, distributors, wholesalers, private label brands and retailers in your product line
- Contact them by email, LinkedIn and phone, from a US company and a US phone number
- Answer buyer calls and emails during US business hours
- Send samples to buyers from our Chicago office in days, not weeks
- Check every new buyer before you ship. See buyer vetting
- Pass every quote request, price discussion and order to you for approval
- Follow up on quotes, shipments and payments
- Send you a monthly report: who we contacted, who replied, samples sent, quotes and orders

Where we find US buyers
- Import records. US sea shipment records are collected by commercial trade databases. They show which US companies already import products like yours, and from where.
- Trade shows and associations. Exhibitor and member lists from US trade shows and industry associations in your line.
- Search and LinkedIn. Distributors, brands and buyers who sell your type of product in the US.
- Inbound leads. Buyers who find your website, Google Ads or marketplace listings.
| Buyer type | What they want | Typical first order |
|---|---|---|
| Importer or distributor | Reliable supply, good FOB prices, consistent quality | A trial order after approved samples |
| Private label brand | Custom products under their brand, strict specs | Samples and pre-production approval first |
| Wholesaler | Ready stock, fast delivery, lower minimums | Smaller orders, often delivered in the US |
| Retail chain | Compliance, labels, insurance and vendor paperwork | Takes longest, often through a distributor |
How outreach works
- 1TargetWe agree your ideal buyers, products and price range.
- 2ListWe build and check a list of real US buyers.
- 3ContactShort, honest emails and calls from our Chicago office.
- 4SamplesInterested buyers get samples, usually from Chicago.
- 5QuoteYou approve every price. We send and follow up the quote.
- 6OrderYou confirm the order. We track it to payment.
Most buyers need several contacts before they reply. We follow up politely and stop when a buyer says no.
You stay in control
We never sign contracts or accept orders in your name. You approve every price, every order and every shipment. We do the talking and the chasing. You make the decisions.
Your existing buyers are listed in our agreement. We never charge commission on them and never contact them without your permission. We do not represent two direct competitors in the same product line at the same time without telling both first.
Getting ready for US buyers
Before outreach starts, we check that you are ready for the questions US buyers will ask:
- FOB prices from a Pakistani port, and your minimum order quantity
- Lead times for samples and production
- Labels that meet US rules for your product, including country of origin marking
- FDA registration, if you make food or medical devices
- Test reports and a Children's Product Certificate, if you make children's products
- Records showing where your cotton and yarn came from, for textile products
- Product liability insurance, which many US distributors and retailers ask suppliers to hold

Rules we follow
| Rule | What it means for you | Who is in charge |
|---|---|---|
| Honest sales emails | Every email uses an honest subject line, shows our real postal address and lets the buyer opt out. We honor opt-outs quickly. | FTC, under the CAN-SPAM Act |
| No false claims | We only tell buyers what is true about your products, certificates and capacity. | FTC |
| Sanctions checks | We check new buyers against the US Treasury sanctions lists before you trade with them. | US Treasury (OFAC) |
| Your information | Your prices, buyers and designs stay confidential. We sign a confidentiality agreement with you on request. | Our written agreement |
How you get paid and how we get paid
- 1Buyer pays youYour US buyer pays you directly, into your bank.
- 2You record itYour bank records the export payment in Pakistan.
- 3Monthly statementYou list paid orders from buyers we introduced.
- 4Our invoiceOur US company invoices the commission.
- 5You pay usBy international bank transfer in US dollars.
Because your buyer pays you directly, the full export value reaches your bank, as State Bank of Pakistan rules require. Commission to a foreign agent should be shown correctly on your export documents, and your bank handles the payment under State Bank rules. Ask your bank how it wants the commission shown before your first shipment.
Price and commission
| Plan | Monthly fee | Commission |
|---|---|---|
| Standard Sales Desk | $1,500 (about Rs. 420,000) | 2 to 5 percent of paid orders |
| Full Sales Desk | $3,000 (about Rs. 840,000) | 2 to 5 percent of paid orders |
- Commission is paid only on money you receive. If a buyer does not pay, you owe no commission on that order.
- It applies only to buyers we introduce. Your existing buyers are never charged.
- The rate depends on your industry. Lower for thin-margin goods like textiles and rice, higher for instruments. See pricing.
- It lasts 24 months per buyer. Commission continues on repeat orders for 24 months from a buyer's first order.
The minimum term is 6 months. After that, you can cancel with 30 days notice. See the Sales Desk page for everything included in each plan.
Your monthly report
Every month you get a written report and a video call. The report lists:
- Every buyer we contacted, and how
- Every reply, question and objection
- Samples sent, delivered and feedback received
- Quotes sent and their status
- Orders placed, shipped and paid
- Our plan for next month
Common questions
What is the difference between a sales agent and a distributor?
A distributor buys your goods and resells them. A sales agent like us never owns your goods. We find buyers and earn a commission when they pay you.
Do you guarantee orders?
No honest agent can guarantee orders. We guarantee the work: the outreach, follow-up and reports every month.
Will you work with my competitors?
We do not represent two direct competitors in the same product line at the same time without telling both of them first.
Do you charge commission on my existing buyers?
No. Your existing buyers are listed in our agreement and are never charged commission.
How does the buyer pay?
Your buyer pays you directly, into your bank. We never collect your export money. We invoice our commission separately.
Is there a minimum term?
Yes, 6 months, because US buyers usually test samples and small orders before steady orders. After that you can cancel with 30 days notice.
