A business partner, not a distributor

Many Pakistani musical instruments makers sell through distributors and importers. That can be good business, and we can help you win distributors as buyers. But when a distributor stands between you and the market, your name rarely reaches the end buyer and much of the value stays abroad.

We work differently. We are your US office and sales team, working for you:

Distributor versus partner
A distributorPak Export Partners
Who owns the goodsThe distributor buys your goods and owns themWe never own your goods
Whose name the buyer seesOften the distributor's brand, not yoursYour company and your brand
Who sets the resale priceThe distributor, with its own markupYou set your price. We add no markup
How they earnA margin on every unit they resellA monthly fee plus commission only on paid orders
Who keeps the buyer listThe distributorYou. Every buyer contact is in your monthly report

Because we do not buy your goods, we have no reason to push your price down. We win when you get paid.

US rules to know before you ship

  • Instruments made with certain woods may need a Lacey Act declaration.
  • Parts made from protected animal materials, such as real ivory or tortoiseshell, face strict US bans. Describe every material clearly.
  • Every item or case must show the country of origin.
  • Some woods used in instruments are protected under CITES and may need permits. Wood products may also need a Lacey Act declaration.

We are not a licensed customs broker or regulatory consultant. For work that needs a license, we coordinate licensed US partners and include them in your plan. See our US labeling guide and customs guide.
