What the numbers mean

The trade group above also includes bedding, cushions and lamps, so wooden furniture is only part of it. Hand-carved furniture is a niche with loyal buyers who value craftsmanship.

Where it is made

Chiniot is famous for hand-carved wooden furniture and inlay work. Gujrat and Lahore make wood and metal furniture.

Where it is sold

Carved furniture sells to buyers in the Gulf, the UK and the US, often for homes, hotels and restaurants. Across all products, the US bought $5.76 billion of goods from Pakistan in 2025, more than any other country.

A business partner, not a distributor

Many Pakistani furniture makers sell through distributors and importers. That can be good business, and we can help you win distributors as buyers. But when a distributor stands between you and the market, your name rarely reaches the end buyer and much of the value stays abroad.

We work differently. We are your US office and sales team, working for you:

Distributor versus partner
A distributorPak Export Partners
Who owns the goodsThe distributor buys your goods and owns themWe never own your goods
Whose name the buyer seesOften the distributor's brand, not yoursYour company and your brand
Who sets the resale priceThe distributor, with its own markupYou set your price. We add no markup
How they earnA margin on every unit they resellA monthly fee plus commission only on paid orders
Who keeps the buyer listThe distributorYou. Every buyer contact is in your monthly report

Because we do not buy your goods, we have no reason to push your price down. We win when you get paid.

US rules to know before you ship

  • Wood products may need a Lacey Act declaration showing the wood species and where it was harvested.
  • Composite wood such as MDF must meet US formaldehyde rules.
  • Dressers and chests of drawers must meet the US tip-over safety standard.
  • Wooden pallets and crates must be heat treated and stamped under ISPM 15.
  • Wood products may need a Lacey Act declaration at import, naming the wood species and country of harvest.
  • Wood packing material such as pallets must be treated and stamped under the ISPM 15 standard.

We are not a licensed customs broker or regulatory consultant. For work that needs a license, we coordinate licensed US partners and include them in your plan. See our US labeling guide and customs guide.

How we help

We work with furniture makers and exporters anywhere in Pakistan, especially in Chiniot, Gujrat, Lahore.

Commission for this industry

On our US Sales Desk plans, commission for furniture is 3 percent of paid orders from buyers we introduce. You pay nothing on orders that are not paid, and nothing on your existing buyers. See all prices.

Common questions

What is a Lacey Act declaration?

It is a US import form for many wood and plant products. It lists the wood species and the country where the wood was harvested.

Is furniture expensive to ship to the US?

Furniture is bulky, so freight is a big part of the price. We work out landed cost before you quote any buyer.

Do you buy furniture from us and resell them?

No. We are not a distributor. We never own your goods. You sell directly to US buyers, and we earn a monthly fee plus commission only on paid orders.

Can you help us sell to US distributors?

Yes. Distributors are often good buyers. We find them, present your products and follow up, and you keep the relationship and set your price.
