Amazon offers an Individual plan, with a fee per item sold, and a Professional plan, with a monthly fee. Most serious sellers use Professional. On every sale, Amazon also takes a referral fee, usually between 8 and 15 percent in most categories. If Amazon stores and ships your goods (FBA), fulfillment and storage fees apply. FBA or ship yourself?
With FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon), you send stock to Amazon warehouses in the US and Amazon ships each order. Shoppers get fast delivery, which helps sales. Shipping each order yourself from Pakistan is possible but slow, and most US shoppers expect delivery in days.
Getting your stock into the US
Amazon does not import goods for you. Someone must act as the importer of record, pay duties and use a licensed customs broker. Many Pakistani sellers use their own US company as the importer.
Restricted categories
