What the numbers mean
Official handicraft export figures collapsed at the start of 2025-26. Crafts that sell well online in the US, such as baskets, brassware and embroidery, need direct buyers more than ever.
Where it is made
Multan is known for camel-skin lamps, blue pottery and embroidery. Hyderabad for ralli quilts and bangles. Peshawar for brass and copper ware. Chiniot and Lahore for woodwork and decor.
Where it is sold
Crafts sell to the Gulf, the UK and the US, often through gift wholesalers and online stores. Across all products, the US bought $5.76 billion of goods from Pakistan in 2025, more than any other country.
